- a) Before connecting the second battery, turn off the ignition;
- b) turn off all electrical loads;
- c) protect your eyes;
- d) Make sure that both batteries have the same operating voltage;
- d) two cars must not touch each other;
- e) open the ventilation plugs.
Connect the "pluses" of both batteries. Connect the "minus" of the battery to the "ground" of the car, not to the battery! (see fig. 2) Start the engine, disconnect the wires in reverse order.
Emergency start: 1, 2 - "pluses" of batteries; 3 - "minus" of the donor battery; 4 - vehicle ground, preferably closer to the starter.
