Note: Wear protective gloves.
Do not damage the tailgate.
1. Remove the lower trim panel from the tailgate.
2. Remove the inner tail lights (tailgate light).
3. Remove the inner tail light (rear shelf light).
4. Unscrew the bolts securing the lower trim panel of the luggage compartment door A and press out the clips.
5. Pull the upper and lower edges of the lower tailgate trim panel A towards you to release the clips (B, C), then remove the lower trim panel.

6. Install the trim panel in the reverse order of removal. Note the following: Check the clips for damage or stress whitening and replace them with new ones if necessary.
Place the clamps securely in place.
