Examination
1. Disconnect the connector (A) from the oil pressure switch (B).
2. Check the continuity between the positive terminal (C) and the engine (ground). Make sure that there is continuity when the engine is off, and there is no continuity when the engine is running.

3. If the sensor does not work properly, check the oil level. If the oil level is normal, check the oil pressure. If the oil pressure is normal, replace the oil pressure alarm sensor.
Replacement
1. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor connector and unscrew the sensor.

2. Apply a small amount of sealant to 2-3 threads of the oil pressure sensor and install it.
Note: Using too much sealant may cause the oil passage to become clogged.
