2. Unscrew the low oil pressure indicator lamp switch and install the oil pressure gauge (special tool).
3. Start the engine and warm it up until the radiator fan runs twice.
4. Measure the oil pressure.
Oil pressure on a warm engine:
- At idle speed: more than 70 kPa (0.7 kg/cm²)
- At 3000 rpm: more than 340 kPa (3.5 kg/cm²)
5. Apply Honda sealant 1216, 5699, 1216E or 5999 to half of the threaded section of the low oil pressure warning light switch on the flange side and tighten the switch to the specified torque.
