Checking the rear window wiper motor (Honda Civic 7)

1. Open the rear door and remove the rear door lower trim.

2. Disconnect the connector (B) from the electric motor (A).





3. Connect the battery to terminals "I" (+) and "3" (-), make sure the electric motor is running.

4. While the motor is running, connect an analog voltmeter to terminals "4" (+) and "2" (-), make sure that the voltmeter alternately shows 0 V and 4 V.

If operation is not as described, replace the motor.
