Removal and installation
Sedan
1. Remove the lower instrument panel trim on the driver's side.
2. Disconnect the air duct (A) and connector (B), unscrew the screws and remove the cabin air temperature sensor (C).
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Hatchback
1. Remove the grille (A) and take out the interior air temperature sensor (B), disconnect the connector (C) and air duct (D).
Note: Be careful not to damage the instrument panel when removing the sensor.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Examination
1. Measure the resistance by heating the sensor with a hair dryer.
2. Make sure that the obtained values do not differ or differ slightly from the graph.
