Note:
- When disassembling, check the rubber parts for wear and damage, replace old or damaged ones.
- Install the bracket and spring pin as shown in the figure.
- Turn the cover over with the opening facing down as shown in the picture on the next page.
- Make sure the boot is installed on the gear selector rod.
