Disassembly/inspection
Attention:
- Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with the car, it may damage the paint, if any liquid does come into contact with the paint, wash it off immediately with water.
- Wash all parts with brake fluid and let dry, blow out all channels with compressed air.
- Before assembly, check that all parts are free of dust and foreign particles. Always replace parts with new ones.
- Make sure that dirt or other foreign matter cannot contaminate the brake fluid
- Do not mix different brands of brake fluid as they may not be compatible. Do not reuse drained fluid. Use only clean DOT-3 or 4 brake fluid.
Note:
- Apply clean brake fluid to the piston, piston seal and wheel cylinder bore.
- When disassembling, always replace all rubber parts with new ones.
