Disassembly/Inspection
Attention:
- Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with the car; it may damage the paint; if it gets on the paint, wash it off immediately with water.
- Wash all parts with brake fluid and let dry, blow out all channels with compressed air.
- Before assembly, check that all parts are free of dust and foreign particles. Always replace parts with new ones.
- Make sure that dirt or other foreign matter cannot contaminate the brake fluid
- Do not mix different brands of brake fluid as they may not be compatible. Do not reuse drained fluid. Use only clean DOT-3 or 4 brake fluid.
Note:
- Apply clean brake fluid to the piston» piston collar and wheel cylinder bore.
- When disassembling, always replace all rubber parts with new ones.
