Tire pressure and tire control (Honda Civic 3)

1. The condition of your tire tread can give you information about problems with your suspension or steering.

2. If the tread depth is less than the permissible value, replace the tires.

3. Carefully inspect the surface of the tires for cuts, tears, and the presence of foreign objects (for example nails). Air leaks can be identified using soapy foam.

4. Inspect the sidewalls of the tires. If you find brake fluid, inspect the brakes immediately.

5. Tire pressure should not be determined visually, especially for radial tires. Always use a pressure gauge.

6. Check the pressure only when the tires are cold (the car stood for at least three hours).
