Headlight leveling system (with HID)
The automatic headlight aiming system consists of an adjustment control unit, body height position sensors, and right and left actuators.
The system records the vehicle's position every three minutes while driving steadily with the headlights "ON" and eight seconds after stopping with the ignition "ON" (II) and the headlights "ON".
If the vehicle's position changes, adjust the headlight beam height automatically.
Headlight height adjustment system sensors
The front headlight vertical aiming sensor is located between the front suspension subframe and the anti-roll bar connected by a shaft, and the rear headlight vertical aiming sensor is located between the right rear suspension subframe and the right rear shock absorber connected by a shaft. The sensor detects the position of the vehicle and sends voltage signals (approximately 0.4 to 4.6 V) into the headlight adjustment control unit.
Headlight aiming control unit
The headlight adjustment control unit is located in the cavity of the control panel on the driver's side. The control unit sends a voltage signal to the right and left electric drives of the headlight adjustment mechanisms, which depends on the voltage signal (approximately 2V to 11V), received from the sensor.
Headlight dimmer motors
The electric drives for the headlight positioning mechanisms are located behind the right and left headlights and change the vertical position of the headlights, receiving a voltage signal (from 2V to 11V) from the headlight adjustment control unit.
Headlight Leveling System (Non-HID)
The manual headlight adjustment system consists of a headlight adjustment switch and a headlight adjustment motor.
In this system, the headlights can be adjusted depending on the number of passengers and load by turning on a switch.
Headlight dimmer switch
The headlight dimmer switch is located on the right side of the instrument panel. The headlights can be adjusted by turning on the switch, depending on the change in position due to the load on the vehicle.
Switch position
The switch position matches the number of passengers and vehicle loading conditions and adjusts the position angle as needed.
