To turn on the exterior lights, turn the end handle of the main switch lever to the first fixed position corresponding to the pictogram. This will turn on the front and rear side lights, license plate lights and instrument panel lights. To turn on the low beam headlights, turn the end handle of the main switch to the second fixed position corresponding to the pictogram. To prevent the battery from discharging, a warning sound is provided that sounds when the driver's door is opened if the lights are left on and the ignition key is turned to the "ACC" (I) or "LOCK" (0) position.

Brief switching of headlights from low beam to high beam and back is done by pulling the switch lever towards yourself. To permanently turn on high beam, pull the lever towards yourself until the click, then release.
Note: The high beam is switched on briefly regardless of the position of the main switch rotary knob.
Some of the models of cars considered in this Manual are equipped with a system of automatic switching on of daytime running lights (DRL). Daytime running lights are switched on and off automatically when the ignition key is turned to the "ON" (II) position, and can be switched off by turning the end handle of the central light switch to the first or second fixed position.
Turning on the direction indicators

The indicators are switched on using the main lighting switch lever. The lever is moved up or down, depending on the selected direction of change of course. When the lever is moved to the extreme upper/lower position (until it clicks), the corresponding direction indicators will continue to function until the steering wheel is returned to the straight-ahead position.
Brief activation of the indicators, for example, when intending to change lanes, is done by lightly pulling the lever up or down, respectively.
