Checking the level and replacing the coolant
The procedures for checking the coolant level and replacing it are described in the chapter "Maintenance and general check and adjustment procedures".
Checking for coolant leaks
1. Check the coolant level.
2. Remove the radiator cap.
3. Using a special adapter, connect the cooling system leak tester to the radiator filler neck.

Caution: Creating pressure in the cooling system above 123 kPa may cause damage to cooling system components and coolant leaks.
4. Create pressure in the radiator.
Pressure - 93 - 123 kPa
5. Make sure that the pressure does not drop for some time. If the pressure drops, check the system for leaks.
