When replacing a bulb, make sure the ignition and all lights are off. Use only bulbs with the rated power specified in the table.

1. Headlight bulbs
Note: To replace xenon lamps, please contact your dealer.
Low beam headlight bulb
Sedan
a) (From the front passenger side). Remove the piston and remove the washer reservoir neck.
b) Disconnect the connector.
c) Turn the lamp counterclockwise and pull it towards you.
d) Replace the lamp.
Hatchback
a) Disconnect the connector and remove the rubber seal.
Five-door models.
Three-door models.
b) Disconnect the retaining spring.

c) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
High beam headlight bulb
a) (From the driver's side) Loosen the battery retaining bolt and slide the battery out.
b) Disconnect the connector.
c) Turn the lamp counterclockwise, pull it towards you and replace it.
2. (Sedan) Replacing fog light bulbs.
If you are replacing the driver's side bulb, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. If you are replacing the front passenger side bulb, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right.
a) Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the piston.
b) Pull back the mudguard.
c) Disconnect the connector.
d) Turn the lamp counterclockwise and pull it towards you.
3. Replacing the turn signal bulbs. If you are replacing the bulb on the driver's side, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. If you are replacing the bulb on the front passenger side, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right.
a) Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the piston.
b) Pull back the mudguard.
c) Turn the connector together with the lamp to the left and pull it towards you.
d) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
4. Replacing front side light bulbs.
Sedan
a) (From the driver's side) Loosen the battery retaining bolt and slide the battery out.
b) Turn the connector together with the lamp to the left and pull it towards you.
c) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
Hatchback
With low beam gas discharge lamps
a) Turn the connector together with the lamp to the left and pull it towards you.
b) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
With xenon low beam headlights
If you are replacing the driver's side bulb, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. If you are replacing the front passenger side bulb, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right.
a) Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the piston.
b) Pull back the mudguard.
c) Turn the connector together with the lamp to the left and pull it towards you.
d) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
5. (Sedan) Replacing the turn signal repeater bulbs.
a) Remove the turn signal repeater as shown in the figure.
b) Turn the connector together with the lamp to the left and pull it towards you.
c) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
6. Replacing the additional brake light bulb.
Sedan
a) Open the trunk lid.
b) Turn the connector together with the lamp to the left and pull it towards you.
c) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
Hatchback (five-door models)
a) Open the trunk door.
b) Remove the additional brake light housing.
c) Remove the reflector and replace the lamp.
7. Replacing the rear combination light bulbs.
Sedan
a) Open the trunk lid.
b) Remove 1 screw and remove the trunk trim.
c) Turn the connector together with the lamp to the left and pull it towards you.
d) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
Hatchback
a) Open the trunk door.
b) Remove the cover.
Five-door models.
Three-door models.
c) Turn the connector together with the lamp to the left and pull it towards you.
d) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
Five-door models.
Three-door models.
8. (Sedan) Replacing the lamps in the trunk lid.
a) Open the trunk lid.
b) Turn the connector together with the lamp to the left and pull it towards you.
c) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
9. Replacing license plate light bulbs.
Sedan
a) Open the trunk lid.
b) Press the latches and remove the connector together with the lamp.
c) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
Hatchback (five-door models)
a) Open the trunk door.
b) Remove the cover.
c) Press the latches and remove the connector together with the lamp.
d) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace it.
Hatchback (three-door models)
a) Move the diffuser to the right and remove it from the trunk door.
b) Disconnect the diffuser from the connector, remove the lamp and replace it.
10. Replacing the luggage compartment light bulb.
Sedan
a) Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the diffuser.
b) Remove and replace the lamp.
Hatchback
a) Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the diffuser.
Five-door models.
Three-door models.
b) Remove and replace the lamp.
Five-door models.
Five-door models.
11. Replacing the interior lighting lamp.
a) Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the diffuser.
b) Replace the lamp.
12. Replacing local lighting lamps.
a) Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the diffuser.
b) Replace the lamp.
