Sedan
1. Remove the center panel
2. Disconnect the connector (A) from the hazard warning switch (B).
3. Remove the hazard warning switch.
4. Check for conductivity between the switch terminals according to the table.
| Switch position | Conclusions |
| OFF | 5-6 (lamp), 1 - 2 |
| ON | 5-6 (lamp), 2-3, 4-7-10 |
If continuity is not as described, replace the hazard warning switch.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Hatchback
1. Remove the automatic transmission selector trim panel.
2. Disconnect the connector (A) from the hazard warning switch (B).
3. Loosen the screws and remove the hazard warning switch.
4. Check for conductivity between the switch terminals according to the table.

| OFF | 5-6 (lamp), 1-2 |
| ON | 5-6 (lamp), 2 - 3, 4-7-10 |
If continuity is not as described, replace the hazard warning switch.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
