Hatchback
1. Remove the lower panel on the driver and passenger side.
2. Remove the glove box.
3. Remove the gearshift lever hole trim.
4. (Manual air conditioner) Disconnect the air flow mixing drive cable (A) and the air flow direction change drive cable (B).
5. Loosen the instrument panel center trim mounting bolts.
6. Pull the center trim toward you, disconnect the "B" clips and clamps, then remove the holder and bracket. Disconnect the connectors.
Sedan
1. Remove the center bottom panel.
2. Before performing the following steps, make sure you know the access code for the radio. After installation, the radio will be blocked until the access code is entered.
3. Remove the center instrument panel trim.
a) Loosen the bolts.
Tightening torque - 5 Nm
b) Gently pull the trim and release the clips.
c) Disconnect the connectors and remove the instrument panel center trim.
