The electrical equipment is designed using a single-wire scheme. The negative wire is along the body. The network voltage is 12 volts. The voltage sources are the battery and the generator.
This Chapter contains procedures for servicing electrical components not related to the engine. Information on the battery, alternator, distributor, and starter is provided in Chapter 5.
When working with electrical appliances and wiring, disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid short circuit and fire.
