The sunroof can be operated when the ignition key is in the "N" position. The sunroof can be in two different open positions: slid and angled open.

Opening and closing the hatch

Warning: When closing and opening the sunroof, be careful not to trap your hands. Be especially careful when transporting children.

(Sedan) To open the sunroof, press and hold the bottom of the switch. The sunroof will stop when you release the switch.



(Hatchback (five-door models)) To open the hatch, move the switch up. The hatch will stop when you release the switch.



When you open the hatch, the deflector will automatically extend. When you open the hatch, the hatch curtain will automatically open.



(Sedan) To close the sunroof, press and hold the top of the switch. When you release the switch, the sunroof will stop.



(Hatchback (five-door models)) To close the hatch, move the switch down. When you release the switch, the hatch will stop.

Opening the hatch

1. Open the sunshade completely.

Note: The sunshade is opened and closed manually. Only when the sunroof is slid does the sunshade open with it.

2. Press and hold the center button. The sunroof will open slightly as long as the button is held.

Manually closing the hatch

If the hatch does not close when you press the corresponding part of the switch, then:

1) Check the sunroof electric drive fuse. If it is blown, replace it with the appropriate one or one of lower rating.

2) If the hatch still does not close or the fuse burns out, the hatch can be closed manually

3) Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the plug next to the interior light bulb.



4) Remove the special key from the tool kit, insert it into the slot and turn until the hatch is completely closed.



5) Put the key back and install the plug.
