Checking the oil level
1. The oil level is checked with the dipstick at the front of the engine.
2. Before checking the oil level, park the vehicle on a level surface. Check the oil level before driving the vehicle or approximately 5 minutes after stopping the engine.
3. Remove the dipstick from the tube and wipe it with a clean cloth. Insert a clean dipstick all the way into the pipe and remove it again. Check the oil level along the film line at the end of the dipstick. If necessary, add oil through the filler neck in the cylinder head cover so that the level is between the marks on the dipstick. The amount of oil corresponding to the change in level from the lower mark to the upper mark is about 1.0 l. Do not allow the normal oil level to be exceeded, as this will lead to oil leakage from under the gaskets or to damage to the oil seals.

Oil and oil filter change
According to the manufacturer's recommendations, the oil should be changed after 12,000 km or once a year under normal driving conditions, or after 6,000 km or twice a year under severe driving conditions. It is recommended, however, to change the oil after 5000 km or 2 times a year, as the engine life is significantly increased.
1. Place the car on a pit or overpass. The drain plug for the pan is located at the bottom of the pan.
2. Install a tray to receive the drained oil and unscrew the oil filler cap on the cylinder head cover.
3. Release the drain plug and unscrew it by hand. As soon as the plug comes out of the thread, quickly remove the plug so that the stream of oil does not get on your hands.
4. Wait until the oil has completely drained. Wipe the plug clean and replace the sealing ring on the aluminum plug.
5. Tighten the plug to 39 Nm (aluminum pallet) or 44 Nm (steel pallet).
6. Place a container under the oil filter and unscrew the filter with a special key (or wrap it in a rag). Drain the oil from the filter into a container.
7. Wipe the mating surface where the filter is installed dry, lightly lubricate the sealing ring of the new filter with engine oil and screw on the new filter. After the filter gasket touches the cylinder block plane, tighten the filter by hand by 1/2-3/4 of a turn.
8. Fill the engine with oil.
9. Start the engine. You can increase the speed only after the oil pressure indicator light goes out. Warm up the engine, stop it and, after waiting a few minutes, check the oil level again and top up if necessary.
