Fuel
The fuel in the cars in question is unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87. If the engine compression ratio is higher than 9: 1, then the fuel must be of the highest quality (Premium brands). If there are signs of detonation or prolonged operation of the engine after turning off the ignition, it is recommended to switch to gasoline with a higher octane rating. It is allowed to reduce the ignition timing by several degrees.
Oil
The recommended viscosity of the oils used at a given temperature is shown in the diagram.
It is highly not recommended to add oils of other brands, as engine failure is possible. On the container in which the oil goes on sale, there are API designations (American Petroleum Institute) oil classification for given operating conditions. In the vehicles in question, only oil with a brand of at least API Service SH should be used. Oils of this brand, in addition to having good flushing properties at high and low temperatures, keep dirt and solid particles in suspension, neutralize acids and other products that appear during engine operation, which cause corrosion and accelerated engine wear.
