
2. Screw the plug into the drain hole, installing a new sealing washer (B).
3. Place a jack under the transmission and lift it up, creating a gap between the transmission and the front subframe.
4. Disconnect the shift solenoid harness connector.
5. Remove the bolt (A) securing the bracket (B) of the ATF cooler inlet pipe (C) to the shift solenoid valve cover (D), the pipe bolt (E), and remove the sealing washers (F).

6. Remove the shift solenoid valve cover, gasket (G) and alignment pins (H).
7. Remove the bolt (A) and disconnect the shift solenoid harness connector (B).

8. Measure the resistance of the ATF temperature sensor between terminals No. 6 and No. 7 of the shift solenoid harness connector.
Standard: 50 Ohm-25 kOhm
9. If the resistance is different from the norm, replace the ATF temperature sensor. The ATF temperature sensor is not supplied separately from the gear shift solenoid valves.
10. Disconnect the connectors from the gear shift solenoid valves.
11. Connect the connector to the shift solenoid valve A with the ATF temperature sensor (F) on the new solenoid valve harness.

12. Connect the connector to the solenoid valve B (orange wire), to solenoid valve C (green wire) and to the solenoid valve E (red wire).
13. Install a new O-ring (G) onto the shift solenoid valve connector (H) and connect the connector to the gearbox housing.
14. Install the cover onto the shift solenoid valves, using a new gasket and alignment pins.
15. Install the ATF cooler inlet pipe with the bolt and new sealing washers. Using a jack, create a gap between the gearbox and the front subframe and tighten the pipe bolt with a torque wrench.
16. Install the ATF cooler inlet pipe bracket to the shift solenoid valve cover and secure it with the bolt.
17. Check if there is any rust, dirt or oil on the connector, then connect the connector securely.
18. Remove the jack.
19. Fill the transmission with the recommended transmission fluid.
