2. Remove the clamps from the dynamic shock absorber. Do not damage the dynamic shock absorber.
- If the boot clamps are of the welded type (A), cut the clamp (B).
- If the boot clamps are of the two-turn type (C), bend the clamp bend (D) and press it into the bracket (E).
- If the boot clamps are of the low profile type (F), clamp the boot clamp with pliers (G) (available for sale).
3. To prevent damage to the dynamic shock absorber, wrap the drive shaft splines with vinyl tape (A).
4. Remove the dynamic shock absorber. Do not damage the dynamic shock absorber.
5. Adjust the length of the dynamic shock absorber as shown in the figure on the right.
6. Place the clamp on the dynamic shock absorber.
7. Install the inner hinge.
