Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
2. Remove the cylinder head cover and camshaft belt top cover.
3. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to the TDC of the compression stroke, aligning the marks. Violation of the alignment of marks during disassembly is not allowed.
4. Remove the ignition distributor (Ch. 2).
5. Evenly and gradually, in a diagonal manner, loosen the camshaft holder bolts, making 2 turns per reception. Don't get the bolts.
6. Remove the rocker rollers. Do not remove the bolts from the camshaft holders. If it is necessary to replace the rocker arms and rollers, the bolts can be removed by first marking the location of the parts on the roller.
Installation
7. Make sure that the piston of the 1st cylinder is set to TDC of the compression stroke (the camshaft key must be facing up).
8. Grease necks and camshaft cams, if necessary replace an epiploon.
9. Collect rocker arms with rollers and covers of basic necks of a cam-shaft.
10. Lubricate a thin layer of sealant on the split surfaces of the first and sixth covers of both camshafts (shaded areas in the photo).
11. Establish yokes in gathering with rollers and holders and screw bolts. Evenly, making 2 turns per reception, tighten the M8 bolts with a torque of 22 Nm. and MB bolts with a torque of 12 Nm. in the order shown in the photo.
12. Adjust the clearances in the valve drive mechanism.
13. Install the rest of the removed parts. Check ignition timing setting, adjust if necessary.
