Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Decompress the fuel system (Chapter 5).
4. Disconnect the cruise control cable.
5. Mark and disconnect all connectors from the throttle body and manifold.
6. Disconnect the throttle cable, air duct and coolant hoses from the throttle body.
7. Remove the throttle body by unscrewing the 2 bolts and nut securing it to the manifold.
8. Remove the 2 manifold brackets.
9. Loosen the bolts and remove the intake manifold. Check the condition of the collector. If cracks are found, replace the manifold.
Installation
10. Install the manifold stand. Tighten the bolts to 18-25 Nm.
11. Install the intake manifold, replacing the gasket. Tighten the bolts to 24 Nm, starting from the center of the manifold and moving towards the periphery.
12. Install the throttle body, tighten the bolts and nut to 22 Nm.
13. Then the installation is carried out in reverse order.
