Thermostat — removal and installation (Honda CR-V 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Drain the coolant.

3. Loosen the bolts and remove the thermostat.

Installation

6. Install the thermostat so that the vent faces upward. Replace the gasket.

7. Open the heater valve completely.

8. On 4-cylinder Odyssey models, loosen the bleed screw 1/2 turn.

9. Fill with fluid and bleed air while squeezing the upper and lower radiator hoses. Tighten the nipple.
