Withdrawal
1. Drain half of the liquid from the reservoir.
2. Raise the car.
3. Remove the wheel.
4. If necessary turn away bolts of fastening of a hose of a brake on a rotary fist.
5. Turn away the bottom bolt of a support and cast away a support. After lifting the caliper, do not press the brake pedal
6. Remove pads and shims.
Installation
7. Replace blocks if their thickness is less than admissible.
8. Clean and inspect the brake disc for wear and damage. Measure the disc thickness. If the thickness of the disc is less than indicated on it (thickness limit marked on the disc), then replace the disk.
9. Clean the caliper brackets and lubricate the caliper pins with refractory grease.
10. Lubricate the tabs on the pads and the grooves in the caliper where the pads are inserted with anti-seize compound.
11. When replacing the pads, press the pistons into the caliper cylinder with a clamp or a special mandrel. If the piston sticks when pushed in, the causes may be cylinder out-of-roundness, piston/cylinder wear, severe piston or cylinder corrosion, or dirt buildup.
12. After installing the calipers, press the brake pedal a little so that the pedal travel does not exceed 50 mm until the pedal becomes "tough". Pressing the pedal harder is highly discouraged, as piston seals can be damaged due to friction against worn cylinder walls.
13. Brake pads run in to the disc in about 300 km.
