1. Thoroughly clean the gasket and the groove under the cylinder head cover.

3. Make sure contact surfaces are clean and dry.

4. Apply sealant 08C70-K0234M, 08C70-K0334M or 08C70-X0331S to the contact surfaces under the chain cover and bracket No. 5 of the valve rocker arm shaft.

Note: Do not install components if more than 5 minutes have passed since applying the sealant. Instead, reapply the sealant, removing any traces of the old one.
