2. Make sure the valves move freely in the guides.
3. Install the spring seats into the cylinder head.
4. Install new valve seals (A) using the valve seal driver (B).
Note: The exhaust valve seal (C) has a black spring (D), and the intake valve seal (E) has a white spring (F). They are not interchangeable.
Note: Use the 5.5mm side.
5. Install the valve spring. Place the spring with the end with the narrow pitch of the coils towards the cylinder head.
6. Install the valve plate.
7. Install the valve spring compressor. Compress the spring and install the crackers.
8. To seat the valve and cradle, lightly tap the tip of each valve stem two or three times with a plastic hammer (A). Only hit the valve stems perpendicular to the axis so as not to bend the stems.
