Front camber adjustment can be accomplished by replacing one or both shock absorber pinch bolts with smaller diameter adjusting bolts. The difference between the diameter of the adjusting bolt and the diameter of the hole for the tie rod provides a small range of adjustment.

1. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely. Remove the front wheels.

2. Loosen the shock absorber clamp bolts and nuts (A) and adjust the front wheel camber by moving the lower part of the shock absorber within the free play of the shock absorber clamp bolt.

3. Tighten the nuts to the required torque. Check the tightening torque of the shock absorber tie bolts.

4. Install the front wheels. Lower the front of the car to the ground and stabilize the suspension by rocking the car a few times.



5. Check the camber angle. If it is within normal limits, check the front wheel alignment. If the angle differs from the norm, proceed to step. 6.

6. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely. Remove the front wheels.

7. Replace the shock absorber pinch bolts with adjusting bolts (A) and adjust the camber angle.

Note: By replacing one shock absorber pinch bolt with an adjusting bolt, the camber angle can be adjusted within ±15' (from the admission center). By replacing both shock absorber tie bolts - upper and lower - with adjusting bolts, the camber angle can be adjusted within ±30'.


8. Tighten the bolts to the required torque.

9. Install the front wheels. Lower the front of the car to the ground and stabilize the suspension by rocking the car a few times.

10. Check the camber angle. If it is within normal limits, check the front wheel alignment. If the angle is different from the standard, adjust again and recheck. If the camber angle cannot be adjusted to the correct value, check the suspension for bent or damaged components.
