Checking the axial play of the bearing (Honda CR-V 2)

1. Raise the vehicle and support it securely. Remove the wheels.

2. Install suitable flat washers (A) and wheel nuts and tighten the nuts to the specified torque until the brake disc is securely pressed against the hub.

3. Fix the indicator by resting the head on the hub cap or hub flange as shown in the figure, and measure the bearing axial play by moving the brake disc in or out.

Bearing axial play: Standard: Front/Rear: 0-0.05mm

4. If the bearing axial play exceeds the specified limit, replace the wheel bearing.
