Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
2. Remove the cylinder head cover.
3. Turn the crankshaft so that the white mark on the crankshaft pulley aligns with the pointer on the oil pump cover.
4. Turn away plugs of control apertures in the top cover of a belt and check up alignment of labels on asterisks with indexes on the top cover.
5. Raise the car and remove the front wheels.
6. Release the tensioner and remove the alternator belt.
7. Remove the power steering pump, set aside and secure without disconnecting the hoses.
8. Hang the engine with a jack through the board. Remove the side engine mount.
9. Remove the oil gauge pipe.
10. Remove the crankshaft pulley and both camshaft belt covers.
11. Fix by screwing a bolt into the threaded hole of the tensioner adjuster bracket (it is recommended to use a stud turned out of the battery clamp, fill the threaded part of the stud on the emery wheel at an angle of 45°).
12. Remove the engine support bracket by unscrewing the bolts.
13. Loosen the tensioner idler pulley bolt 5-6 turns (located to the right of the camshaft belt tensioner) and remove the belt.
Installation
14. Check the alignment of the marks on the crankshaft pulley with the pointer on the oil pump cover, as well as the alignment of the marks on the camshaft sprockets with the pointers on the rear (not filmed) lid.
15. Before putting on the belt, reduce the tensioner adjuster by doing the following.
- A. Turn out a fixing bolt.
- b. Loosen the bolts and remove the tensioner.
- c. Clamping the tensioner in a vise (photo), carefully unscrew the plug without spilling oil (oil volume in tensioner 6.5 ml (engine oil is used)
- d. Screw in the screw, compressing the regulator spring, and fix the spring with a bracket. Screw on the plug and tighten with a torque of 8 Nm.
- e. Install the tensioner with a compressed spring on the engine, tighten the bolts with a torque of 8 Nm.
16. Put on the camshaft belt, starting in a counterclockwise direction, first on the crankshaft sprocket, then on the intermediate pulley, camshaft sprocket on the left, coolant pump sprocket, camshaft sprocket on the right, tensioner pulley.
17. Tighten the idler pulley bolt to 44 Nm.
18. Remove tensioner bracket.
19. Install motor support and belt covers.
20. Check the tightness of the crankshaft pulley (torque should be 245 Nm.). Turn the crankshaft 5-6 revolutions in the direction of normal rotation.
21. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to the TDC of the compression stroke, aligning the marks on the crankshaft, and check the alignment of the marks on the camshaft sprocket.
22. Install the removed parts and assemblies in reverse order, adjust the belt tension. Tighten the engine mount bracket bolts, remove the jack from under the engine.
