2. Screw the plug into the drain hole, installing a new sealing washer (B).

3. Place a jack under the transmission and lift it up, creating a gap between the transmission and the front subframe.
4. Remove the bolt (A) securing the bracket (B) of the ATF cooler inlet pipe (C) to the shift solenoid valve cover (D), the pipe bolt (E), and remove the sealing washers (F).

5. Remove the shift solenoid valve cover, gasket (G) and dowel pins (H).
6. Disconnect the connectors from the gear shift solenoid valves.
7. Loosen the bolts and grasp the gear shift solenoid valve housing, then remove them. Do not remove by holding the tourniquet.
8. Install new O-rings (two per solenoid valve) (F) for serviceable gear shift solenoid valves. The new solenoid valve comes with new O-rings.

9. Install the shift solenoid valves A, C and E by holding them by the housing. Insert them until the brackets of their mounting bolts touch the servo valve body.
10. Install the shift solenoid valve B by holding it by the housing. Insert it until the bracket of its mounting bolts touches the brackets of the installed solenoid valves. Do not install shift solenoid valve B before shift solenoid valve E. Installing shift solenoid valve B before shift solenoid valve E may damage the hydraulic control system.
11. Connect the connector (G) of the shift solenoid valve A to the ATE temperature sensor
12. Connect the connector to the solenoid valve B (orange wire), to solenoid valve C (green wire) and to the solenoid valve E (red wire).
13. Install the cover onto the shift solenoid valves using a new gasket and dowel pins.
14. Install the ATF cooler inlet pipe with the bolt and new sealing washers. Using a jack, create a gap between the gearbox and the front subframe and tighten the pipe bolt with a torque wrench.
15. Install the ATF cooler inlet pipe bracket to the shift solenoid valve cover and secure it with the bolt.
16. Remove the jack.
17. Fill the transmission with the recommended transmission fluid.
