The vehicles in question are equipped with a single-chamber pipe with side suction. The lower part of the pipe has a jacket for circulation of the coolant. The throttle valve and manifold static air pressure sensors, the idle air corrector screw and the valve limiting screw are mounted on the pipe (which is wrapped in paint and cannot be adjusted). The slack in the damper drive cable should ensure a deflection of the cable in both directions by 10-12 mm. The pipe should be replaced if it is significantly worn or if the damper axis is jammed, and also if a gap has formed between the damper limit screw and the stop.

The vehicles in question are equipped with a…

1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Disconnect the air filter duct from the pipe.

3. Disconnect the connector from the pipe.

4. Mark and disconnect the hoses and cables from the throttle body. Plug the coolant hoses.

5. Loosen the bolts and remove the pipe. Clean the separating surfaces of the branch pipe and manifold from any remaining sealant.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order. When finished, adjust the throttle and cruise control cables. The throttle cable slack should allow the cable to deflect in both directions by 10-12 mm. The free play of the cruise control cable on a partially warmed-up engine should be 4-5 mm.
