Checking and cleaning
1. Make sure the throttle opens and closes smoothly.
2. Make sure the throttle valve moves freely.
3. Make sure that when the throttle valve is fully closed, there is no gap between the screw and stop.
4. Make sure the throttle body is clean. If the contamination is significant, clean it.
Note:
- Do not wash the throttle body too thoroughly, so as not to wash off the molybdenum grease.
- Do not spray carburetor cleaner towards the throttle shaft.
- A) Remove the throttle body.
- b) Clean carbon deposits from the throttle body and the inside of the throttle body with a paper towel.
- V) Install the throttle body.
- G) Start the engine until the radiator fan comes on and check the idle speed.

Removal and installation
Note: After installing the throttle body, adjust the throttle cable.
1. Remove the air filter.
2. Remove the accelerator cable.
3. Disconnect the idle speed control valve connector, throttle position sensor connector, EVAP valve connector.
4. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Note: do not install gasket "E" again.
