Note: When assembling, install new O-rings.


1. THERMOSTAT. Install with the pin facing up.

3. RUBBER SEAL. Replace.
4. THERMOSTAT COVER
5. 6x1.0 mm, 11 Nm (1.1 kgf/m)
6. O-RING, Replace.
7. RADIATOR FAN SWITCH, 24 Nm (2.4 kgf/m)
8. THERMOSTAT HOUSING


Trial



Replace the thermostat if it is open at room temperature. To test a closed thermostat:

1. Hang the thermostat in a container of water as shown in the figure.

2. Heat the water and check the temperature with a thermometer. Check the temperature at which the thermostat begins to open and at which it is fully open.

3. Measure the height of the thermostat lift when it is fully open.

Standard thermostat:



Lifting height:above 8 mm
It starts to open:76-80°C
Fully open:90°C
