Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Drain the oil from the engine and raise the car.
3. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to TDC of the compression stroke.
4. Remove the cylinder head cover and the middle camshaft belt cover.
5. Remove the accessory drive belts.
6. Remove the crankshaft pulley and the lower camshaft belt cover.
7. Remove the camshaft belt and belt drive sprocket.
8. Remove the oil pan and receiver.
9. Loosen the bolts and remove the oil pump. Remove the guide pins from the cylinder block. Clean the pump and the cylinder block split surface.
Installation
10. Replace the front crankshaft oil seal in the pump housing by pressing it out and pressing in a new seal using a mandrel.
11. Install the pins and new gasket into the cylinder block.
12. Apply a bead of sealant to the split surface of the pump, lubricate the holes for the bolts with sealant (to avoid leaks, do not fill the engine with oil earlier than 30 minutes after installing the pump).
13. Lubricate the pump seal lips, install the pump and oil receiver, tighten the bolts to a torque of 9.8 Nm.
14. Further assembly is carried out in reverse order.
