CR-V and 4-cylinder Odyssey
1. Drain the coolant.
2. Disconnect the upper and lower hoses from the radiator.
3. On vehicles with automatic transmission, disconnect the cooling hoses from the radiator and plug the holes.
4. Disconnect the fan switch connectors from the radiator.
5. Remove the upper brackets and buffers.
6. Remove the radiator by lifting it upwards.
7. Installation is carried out in reverse order. When finished, fill in the liquid without closing the radiator cap, start the engine and stop it after the fan has turned on twice. Add fluid to the radiator and reservoir.
Odyssey V6
1. Remove the battery.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Remove the upper decorative radiator trim by carefully prying and removing the latches.
4. Remove the wire retainer located next to the Y-bracket, just behind the radiator grille.
5. Loosen the bolts and remove the Y-bracket.
6. Remove the wiring trays and the relay and fuse box mounting post from the battery bracket, unscrew the bolts and remove the battery bracket.
7. Remove the holders and remove the wiring harnesses from the upper radiator bracket.
8. Disconnect the upper and lower hoses from the radiator.
9. Disconnect the automatic transmission cooling hoses from the radiator and plug the holes.
10. Remove the upper radiator bracket with buffers together with the air conditioner condenser bracket.
11. Unscrew the upper fan casing bolts and loosen the lower bolts, remove the fans together with the casings.
12. Disconnect the coolant tank hose from the radiator and remove the radiator from the engine compartment. If the radiator is going to be changed, then transfer the transmission cooling tube fittings to the new radiator.
13. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
