Attention. Observe fire safety regulations.

1. Remove the cover of the left inspection hole in the luggage compartment.

2. Relieve the pressure in the fuel tank by opening the fuel filler cap.

3. Remove the fuel hose from the intermediate tank and connect a hand vacuum pump to the injection pump tube.

4. Make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position and connect the PGM-Fi main relay connector.

5. Connect the contacts with the black-yellow wire and the red-white wire with a jumper.

6. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position and check that the hand vacuum pump gauge shows a vacuum of 4.0 kPa (30 mmHg) or higher.

6. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II)…
6. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II)…

Standard vacuum: 4.0 kPa (30 mmHg) and above

If the vacuum is within normal limits, check the tube and filter on the intermediate tank side for patency.

The performance of the injection pump decreases simultaneously with the decrease in battery voltage and the performance of the fuel pump, so if there is a problem with the injection pump, check the performance of the fuel pump at the same time.
