Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Drain the oil from the engine and raise the car.
3. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to TDC of the compression stroke (in this case, the marks on the crankshaft and camshafts must align with the corresponding indicators).
4. Remove the crankshaft pulley and camshaft belt.
5. Remove the camshaft belt idler roller.
6. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
7. Remove the camshaft belt drive sprocket.
8. Remove the oil filter bracket by disconnecting the wire from the pressure sensor.
9. Disconnect the wires from the oxygen sensor, unscrew the nuts and remove the front exhaust pipe, disconnecting it from the middle pipe and manifold and removing the clamps.
10. Remove the oil pan and receiver.
11. Loosen the bolts and remove the oil pump.
12. Loosen the screws and remove the oil pump housing cover.
Installation
13. Install the oil pump housing cover by tightening the screws with fixing compound.
14. Check the freedom of rotation of the oil pump gears.
15. Apply a bead of sealant to the thoroughly cleaned split surface of the pump and lubricate the bolt holes with sealant.
16. Lubricate the crankshaft oil seal lips. and a new pump housing O-ring.
17. Install the pins into the pump cover, orient the pump gear and install the pump, tighten the bolts to 12 Nm.
18. Install the oil receiver, tighten the bolts to 12 Nm.
19. Install the oil pan, having previously lubricated the separating surface with sealant.
20. Install the oil filter bracket, connect the wire to the pressure sensor
21. Install the exhaust pipe, replacing the gaskets.
22. Install the remaining parts, fill the engine with oil.
