
2. Check the free play of the cable on the throttle linkage. The cable should deflect by 10-12 mm.

3. If it bends too much, remove the cover (A) from the throttle linkage.

4. Loosen the lock nut (A) and turn the adjusting nut (B) until the desired amount of deflection is achieved, then tighten the lock nut.

5. After adjusting the cable, make sure that the throttle valve opens fully when you press the accelerator pedal to the floor. Also make sure that the throttle valve returns to the idle position when you release the accelerator pedal.
