2. Open the throttle valve fully, then remove the throttle cable (A) from the rod (B).
3. Remove the cable cover (C) from the bracket (D).
4. Disconnect the throttle cable (A) from the accelerator pedal (B).
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
6. After installation, start the engine. Maintain RPM at 3000 rpm (min⁻¹) without load (in Park or Neutral position), until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
7. Hold the cable sheath to remove any slack in the cable.
8. Loosen the locknut on the cable bracket (A).
Adjust the adjusting nut (B) so that the free play is 0 mm.
9. Slide the cable housing off the throttle body bracket (A). Lock the adjusting nut (B) and tighten the lock nut (C).
10. After adjusting the cable, make sure that the throttle valve opens fully when you press the accelerator pedal to the floor. Also make sure that the throttle valve returns to the idle position when you release the accelerator pedal.
