1. The throttle cable must run smoothly without binding.
2. Check the free play of the cable when connecting (the cable should be free to deviate 4.7-9.5 mm between the lock nut and the lever.
3. If the deviation is different, loosen the lock nut. Turn the adjusting nut to tighten or loosen the cable as needed. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut.
4. Check the throttle (valve) while your assistant pushes the gas pedal to the floor. The damper must be fully open. Check carefully that you can see the damper fully open and that it stops in a vertical position. In addition, the throttle should close quickly and smoothly when the gas pedal is released.
