CR-V and 4-cylinder Odyssey



1. Remove the inner door panel.

2. Remove the plastic screen.

3. Remove the drum lock switch and outside handle.

4. Loosen the bolt in the rear glass guide.

5. Disconnect the connectors, wiring brackets and inner handle rod.

6. Use an impact screwdriver to loosen the mounting screws and remove the lock.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

6-cylinder Odyssey



1. Raise the glass.

2. Remove the inner door panel, plastic screen and drum lock switch.

3. Disconnect the connector and wiring brackets near the lock, move the wires to the side.

4. Remove the plug above the latch and unscrew the outer door handle bolts.

5. Remove the handle and measure the extension of the handle rod above the bracket to ensure the rod is installed correctly during assembly.

6. Remove the traction bracket from the handle.

7. Loosen the screw and remove the protective cover of the lock rod.

8. Disconnect the inner lock handle rod from the holder, disconnect the latch drive connector and remove the wiring fastening bracket.

9. Loosen the screws securing the lock latch and remove the latch with the lock through the opening in the door.

10. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Install the new tie rod bracket as follows. so that the rod protrusion corresponds to that measured during disassembly.
