1. Remove the brake fluid from the clutch master cylinder reservoir using a syringe.

3. Disconnect the reservoir hose (C) from the clutch master cylinder. To prevent brake fluid from leaking out of the reservoir hose, plug its end with a napkin.

4. Pry up the cotter pin (A) and remove the pedal pin (B) from the fork. Remove the clutch master cylinder mounting nuts (C).

7. Install the clutch master cylinder in the reverse order of removal. Install a new O-ring. Tighten the master cylinder mounting nuts to a torque of 13 Nm (1.3 kgf·m). Make sure that the tabs on the master cylinder hose clamps face the directions shown.

8. To prevent the mounting clamp (A) from slipping, spread the tabs on the tip of the mounting clamp (B) using a screwdriver.
