Replacing the fuel filter (Honda CR-V 2)

The fuel filter should be changed when the fuel pressure drops below the standard 330-380 kPa (3.4-3.9 kgf/cm²), model KZ: 320-370 kPa (3.3-3.8 kgf/cm²), making sure the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator are in good condition.

Models KG, KS, KE, KR:

1. Remove the fuel pump.

2. Remove the fuel filter (A).

3. Install the fuel filter in the reverse order of removal, installing a new gasket (D) in the base and new O-rings (E), then check the following:

• When connecting the wiring harness, make sure the connection is secure and that the terminal (B) is firmly seated.
• When installing the fuel gauge sensor (C), make sure the connection is secure and that the connector is firmly seated. Do not bend or twist it excessively.

Except for models

KG, KS, KE, KR

1. Relieve fuel pressure.

2. Disconnect the hose and quick-release fittings (A).

Except for the KZ model

Model KZ

3. Remove the fuel filter (B).



4. Installation of the fuel filter is performed in the reverse order of removal.
