Precautions when handling fuel pipes/quick couplings (Honda CR-V 2)

The fuel pipes/quick connectors connect the fuel rail (A) to the fuel feed hose (B), the fuel feed hose (B) to the fuel pipe (C), the fuel pipe (D) to the fuel tank sender (E), and the fuel pipe (F) to the fuel filter (G). When removing or installing the fuel feed hose, fuel tank sender, or fuel tank, the quick connectors must be disconnected or connected.

Please note the following:
  • Fuel supply hose (B), fuel pipe (D) and quick-release fittings (H) are not heat-resistant; do not damage them during welding or other operations that generate heat.
  • Fuel supply hose (B), fuel pipe (D) and quick-release fittings (H) are not acid-resistant; do not touch them with the napkins you used to wipe off the electrolyte. Replace them if they have come into contact with electrolyte or similar substances.
  • When disconnecting or connecting the fuel supply hose (B), fuel pipe (D) and quick connectors (H), do not bend or twist them excessively. If there are signs of damage, replace.
