Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
2. After turning the crankshaft, align the white mark on the crankshaft pulley with the pointer on the front cover.
3. Mark the high voltage wires on the cover, do not disconnect the wires.
4. Remove the cover from the distributor, determine the orientation of the slider. If the slider is not directed to the output of the 1st cylinder, then turn the crankshaft 1 turn counterclockwise, aligning the white mark on the crankshaft pulley with the pointer on the front cover.
5. If a removed distributor will be installed, mark the orientation of the distributor body and runner.
6. Disconnect from the distributor a socket.
7. Turn away 3 screws and remove the distributor.
Installation
8. If, after removing the distributor, the crankshaft or camshaft turned, then set the piston of the 1st cylinder to the TDC of the compression stroke by turning the crankshaft until the white mark on the pulley aligns with the pointer, or so that the UP mark on the camshaft sprocket is facing up (if the front cover is removed).
9. Further assembly is carried out in the reverse order. Replace O-ring. Align all marks made during disassembly. At the end, clear the contents of the memory of the processor unit (see above) and check the ignition setting.
