The charging system of the vehicles under consideration consists of a generator, a voltage regulator built into the generator, a battery, a charge control circuit, connecting wires, a fuse box with a built-in load detection module (ELD module). The negative pole of the battery is connected to ground.
Precautions:
1. Do not disconnect any wires from the generator while the engine is running.
2. Do not short-circuit any terminals on the generator or regulator.
3. Before repairing any part of the car with electric welding, disconnect the wires from the generator and battery.
4. Before replacing any of the consumers, disconnect the battery from the ground.
5. The engine processor unit RCM can be disconnected from the on-board network only when the engine is not running and the ignition is off.
