2. Insert the flange bolt (A) and two set bolts and tighten them.
3. Place the heat shield cover and tighten the three bolts.
4. Insert the right drive shaft.
Installing the intermediate shaft (Honda CR-V 2)
1. Thoroughly clean the areas at the junction of the intermediate shaft (A) and the gearbox (differential) solvent or carburetor cleaner and dry with compressed air. Insert the intermediate shaft assembly into the differential. To avoid damaging the differential seal (B), hold the intermediate shaft horizontally.
2. Insert the flange bolt (A) and two set bolts and tighten them.
3. Place the heat shield cover and tighten the three bolts.
