Installing the intermediate shaft (Honda HR-V 1)

1. Thoroughly clean the areas where the intermediate shaft and gearbox (differential) meet with solvent or carburetor cleaner and dry with compressed air. Insert the intermediate shaft assembly into the differential. To avoid damaging the differential seal, hold the intermediate shaft horizontally.

2. Install the three set bolts and tighten them.

1. Fitting bolts, 10 x 1.25 mm, 39 Nm (4.0 kgf/m)

3. Fill the transmission with the recommended MTF or ATF fluid.
