Note: Before installation, make sure that the contact surfaces of the hinge and spline are free of dirt and dust.
1. Install the outer joint (A) onto the rear wheel hub (B).

Note: Do not damage the ABS wheel sensor (C).
2. Insert the rear drive shafts into the rear differential assembly.
3. Apply a small amount of engine oil to the seating surface of the new axle nut (A).
4. Place the new nut on the axle shaft, then tighten it. After tightening, use a drift to tap the tongue of the axle nut onto the drive shaft (B).

5. Clean the contact surfaces of the brake disc and rear wheel, then install the rear wheel and tighten the wheel nuts.
